Overview

Ganesh Himal trekking is not frequented by many tourists and situated in central Nepal,Northwest of Kathmandu.The terraced hillsides seems to climb to the sky.Ganesh Himal trek is one of the best trekking destination in central Nepal on non-touristy trail.This trek takes you through river Vally and traditional farming communities that contain a variety of the ethic groups in Nepal.

The trek goes through pine and rhododendron forest and across various passes.There are wonderful views of several mountains like Bhddha Peak,Fishtail,Annapurna south,Annapurna II,Ganesh Himal,Manaslu and Langtang.Due to the easy accessibility of this trek,there are opportunity for treks lasting under a week.

The Ganesh Himal is Major group of Himalayan peaks located between the Langtang and Manaslu Himalaya region.The Eastern part of the Ganesh Himal range is famous for the unique Tamang culture to which the Nepali Royal family belongs and visitor treated to spectacular views of mountains and colorful rhododendron forests. Ganesh Himal trekking begins from Betrawati and ending at Dhading/Gorkha.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 :Arrival/Pick up from airport to hotel.O/N Kathmandu.

Day 2 :Official formalities/Day trip city tour in Kathmandu.

Day 3 :3/4 hrs drive from Kathmandu to Betrawati and trek continue to Satdobate.

Day 4 :Trek Satdobate to Bhalche (3655m).

Day 5 :Trek Bhalche to Gongur Bhanjyang (3700m).

Day 6 :Trek Gongur Bhanjyang to Rupchet Kharka (4040m).

Day 7 :Trek Rupchet Kharka via Singla pass to Chawar Kharka (2488m).

Day 8 :Trek Chawar Kharka to Sertung (1990m).

Day 9 :Trek Sertung to Lapagaoun.(1900m).

Day 10 :Trek Lapagaoun to Managl Bhanjyang.(2600m).

Day 11 :Trek Managl Bhanjyang to Manbu (1108m).

Day 12 :Trek Manbu to Arughat.

Day 13 :Trek Arughat to Ghyampeshal. 

Day 14 :Trek Ghyampeshal to Gorkha Bazar.

Day 15 :Hike to Gorakh Kali temple as well as old place and drive back to Kathmandu/Pokhara.
