Overview

Annapurna Base Camp trek is also known as Annapurna sanctuary trek that explores village, forest and Himayan area of Annapurna region. It has been one of the best trekking destination because you can see the panoramic views of Annapurna one, Annapurna south, Annapurna two, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail and others mountains. In another hand it is easily accessible trekking which you can do within the limit time.

The trek some time ascents and descents through the village, forest and ridge faced with rugged mountains. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu 

Arrival in Kathmandu airport-1345meter;there you will meet our airport representative and transferred to hotel by private vehicle.O/N at hotel.

Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara (827m)

We will take tourist bus at sharp 7:00am from Kathmandu to Pokhara :6 hrs-7hrs. On the way bus will stop for breakfast and lunch.O/N in Pokhara.

Day 3 : Pokhara to Thikedhunga (1500m)

Departure at 7:30am from Pokhara.Drive -1:30 hrs from pokhara to Nayapool.After Nayapool we will start walking(2hrs-3hrs)via the bank of valley to Sudhame for Lunch.After lunch we will continue to walk (1hrs-2hrs)to Thikedhunga. Thikedhunga is a small community based village.O/N in Thikedhunga.

Day 4 : Thikedhunga to Ghorepani (2850m)

Breakfast at 7:30am.Start walking from Thikedhunga to Ulleri all the way up(300 steps).Breaktime for tea with the beautiful mountain scene.Then continue walk to Banthanti and stop for lunch.Next,we walk continue for almost for 2hrs-3hrs via dense forest of rhodendron to Ghorepani.Ghorepani is the best viewpoint of the world.O/N in Ghorepani.

Day 5 : Ghorepani to Tadapani (2600m)

Wake up early in the morning at 5:00 am.Hike to Poonhill-2hrs up(3210m).Poonhill is the most popular viewpoint for sunrise and snow caped mountains.Back to Ghorepani (30 min),stop for breakfast then continue to Banthanti for lunch.Along the way up we will see astonishing mountain view and dense forest .After lunch we walk continue to Tadapani via forest.Tadapani is a tiny popular tourist destination .O/N in Tadapani.

Day 6 : Tadapani to Sinuwa (2310m)

Breakfast at 7:00am.After breakfast we will walk down to Gurgung(2hrs-3hrs) then stop for lunch.After lunch we continue to Sinuwa via Chhomrong.O/N in Sinuwa.

Day 7 : Trek Sinuwa to Deurali (3150m)

We proceed to Kuldi Ghar(2hrs-3hrs) walking. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from there the route goes very steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We pass by the pasture of Tomo, and then the very neck of the gorge at pantheon Barah, where there is a small trail and a shrine. The track climbs to Himalaya hotel for lunch then continue walk to Deurali.O/N in Deurali.

Day 8 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

Today we climb on past the MBC to the AnnapurnaBase Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. From here it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base camp, which offers spectacular views.O/N in Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 9 : Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2600m)

Early morning enjoy with beautiful view and trek down to Dovan-4hrs and stop for lunch.After lunch again walk down to Bamboo. Bamboo is one of the narrowest gorge of modi khola which is surrounded by dense forest.O/N in Bamboo.

Day 10 : Bamboo to Jhinu dada (2100m)

Breakfast at 7/8am,after breakfast we walk (4hrs) continue to chhomrong for lunch.Chhomrong is known as gateway to Annapurna base camp.After lunch,trek continue down to Jhinu dada.Jhinu dada is known for hot spring which is located at the bank of Modi river.We will take hot bath in the evening for refreshment from the treks.Then back to hotel.O/N in Jhinu dada. 

Day 11 : Jhinu dada to Pokhara

Breakfast at 7:30/8:30am.After breakfast walk down to new bridge.On the way we will cross longest and highest suspension bridge of this area.Then,shortly we will reach bus station .Next,we will take bus to Pokhara:3hrs-drive.O/N in Pokhara.

Day 12 : Pokhara city tour

We will visit Tibetian refugee camp,Bindabasini Temple,Gupteswor mahadev cave and Boating in Fewa lake.

Day 13 : Pokhara to Kathmandu

Departure at sharp 7:30 am from Pokhara to Kathmandu:6hrs-7hrs.O/N in Kathmandu.

Day 14 : Departure to Airport

Our staff will take you to the airport for farewell.
